Apple fans are about to feel the effects of Brexit as Apple has announced plans to increase the prices of apps on the App Store by around 25%.
The price change is in response to the falling value of the Great British Pound, since the results of the vote to leave the EU. The new prices will also bring parity between the prices of the UK and US App Stores where a 99 cent app will convert to 99p.
The Brexit vote has already started having an effect on the technology industry, where Tesla increased prices by 5% and Apple increased the price of their iPhone 7 smartphone from £539 to £599.
Time will tell just how much the Brexit vote will continue to impact the prices of technology as well as the industry itself, in the coming years.
